So today I'm looking on one of my daily political blogs, and it has a link back to a posting on the Daily Kos advocating that the United States needs to be invaded and occupied so that we will emotionally know the damage an invasion can cause. I won't continue on the foolishness of this post, but the person responsible is completely wrong about the history of the country that he lives in. And he's supposed to be a professor. I decided this morning to use some of my money that the US government overcharged me - my tax refund - to reactivate my City of Heroes account. (I will save my rant on the way this country lays and collects taxes for some where closer to April 15). I had to cancel it because my current roommate couldn't afford to pay as much as my previous one. Well, it's been nearly two months into 2008, and already I can tell that it's going to be one of those roller-coaster years. On the up side, I managed to land an internship in the fiscal department of the VA, and it looks like I will have a job there once I graduate USF.
